MOUNTAIN ROSE STABLES

Mountain Rose Stables is located in Clarkesville, GA., one hour north of Atlanta in the beautiful northeast Georgia Mountains. 

We are a private full board equine facility. The owners  live on the premises, a short walk from the barn.  We are horse owners and lovers ourselves, and care for all of our boarders as if they were our own.    We have a strict limit of 6 boarded horses maximum (or a total of 9) with us at any one time.   Our horses are fed a choice of grain twice a day and Coastal Bermuda Hay year round.  Each horse is brought in every night to a private 12X12 oak stall and turned out to pasture in the early morning.    We have paddocks and pastures with plenty of afternoon shade.  Fresh water and salt blocks are always provided. 

 Board rate is $350.00 per month per horse due prior to the 1st of the month.    Owners may choose their own farriers and vet, or feel free to schedule with our providers (Cornelia Animal Hospital & Steve Whidby, farrier).

Ammenities include:

-9 Stall Barn - 12X12 stalls w/shavings, cleaned daily & replenished as necessary.

-Wash racks, indoor & outdoor

-Indoor & Outdoor cross ties

-Carpeted Tack Room

-Walking distance to access National Forest trails

-Heated outdoor water in winter

-Free trailer parking

-No add on handling fees
